Amidst the world's diverse ethnicities, religions, cultures, and beliefs, which often lead to conflicts and even wars, the Dhammakaya Temple community recognizes the vision of its masters: "Outer peace begins with inner peace." When people around the world reach inner peace, which is universal and found in all human beings, mutual understanding and compassion will increase and conflicts will decrease. When people around the world recognize the value of inner peace and help spread it throughout society, true peace will emerge globally. A sense of brotherhood and generosity will emerge.
